Game Camera Photo Logbook
Welcome to My Game Camera Photo Logbook. Join me as I use hidden game cameras to photograph deer, elk, eagles, hawks, cougar, bear and other animals that live around Mt. St. Helens. So, come along and let's get to know what lands on that stump or walks that log, and explore this forest that the animals call home.

I think the photo works well with the limb. In fact, it illustrates how heavy the snow was at the time.
Sometimes in my favorite images, animals are partially obscured - but still plainly identifiable.
My appreciation for this has grown over time, and I resist deleting images until i have had a chance to get a second impression, after I reconsider my expectations and, instead, appreciate the result.
I think that's what is so unigue about game cameras, the fact that I can spend hours setting up for a great photo and most of the time luck can make a big difference.
I believe this is what seperates game camera photos from someone taking animal photos in a zoo or with a telephoto lense in the wild. Can't think of anyone triggering the camera with a snowy limb blocking the view.
