I've enjoyed hiking in the outdoors my entire life while trying to study the habits of animals. Mainly it was always a guess on what type of animal used the trails, unless you saw well defined tracks. But that has changed since I started using game cameras, now pictures show me whatever uses the trail day or night. I have learned more about wildlife by using trail cameras in the last 4 years than I did in the first 50+ years and ended up with some great photos. I hope you will enjoy a few stories and tips on how to set the game cameras to get the best pictures.

That is one fine coyote and one one fine coyote picture. I don't care what people say about them, I love them.
Thanks, I find my greatest test to photograph wildlife is to get a closeup daytime picture of a coyote that is unaware of the camera and without using bait or scent. It's difficult to get the natural look to a coyote when using bait, they seem to circle and are wary of most bait,I believe, because man has harrassed the coyote for years.
