Log setup over a creek for a bear

I'm getting an early start for bears hoping to get photos of young cubs with mama. I saw bear tracks leading to and crossing this log that's about 10 feet above a small creek, it's really brushy in this area so the trails are the only path to follow.

Well, I'm not suprised that a raccoon crossed the log because of the creek, but not sure why a rabbit would cross the log and not much food for it in the young fir trees.

Nice pictures and a beautiful set. That rabbit is a quite a surprise. I recall some years ago when it was discovered that brush rabbits in Oregon climb low shrubs to browse.

I certainly was suprised, and glad for the info on the rabbits.

I set the camera at a little angle to the log so I wouldn't miss the cub if both crossed the log, it's my XLP board so I know I won't miss anything but after looking at the photos I might have the camera aimed a little low for a bear.
Reminds me of a cat photo you got by the rock, how do you pray for a bear not to go on the log until I re-aim the camera.
OH gods of the game camera, please let the bear crawl on it's belly while crossing the log......
